UPDATE: Bremen City Schools back to regular schedule for Tuesday

UPDATE:

Haralson County School District is back in session on Tuesday, per an update posted on social media around 6 p.m.

Per their post, schools will be open and back to work on the regular schedule.

Students who are waiting for buses will need to bundle up in the morning, as temperatures are expected to be down into the low teens between 6 and 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Bremen City Schools are back to a regular schedule as well.

Students at Bremen City Schools got to experience a school day without any white powder on the ground, but they’ll be back to their regular schedule on Tuesday.

The school system announced this afternoon that students would resume a normal schedule for January 27 after closing down due to the cold weather impacting the area following the weekend winter storm.

Much of the water on the roadway had a chance to dry out with sunshine and wind impacting the area, but the cold will remain through Tuesday and into the midweek at least.

Expect the need to bundle up students for below-freezing temperatures at the bus stop in the morning.
