Mrs. Gayle Ann Hoenighausen Liner, age 72, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away February 23, 2026.
She was born July 4, 1953 in Michigan to the late Robert and Betty Hoenighausen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Albert Jesse Liner and brother, Gary Hoenighausen.
Gayle was a devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother. She served as a foster parent for many years, offering many a home and safe place to rest.
Gayle is survived by her son and daughter in law, Joe and Aimee Liner, of Tallapoosa; daughters, Lori Smith, of Villa Rica, GA, Lois Lopez, of Tallapoosa, Michelle Liner, of Stone Mountain, GA, and Lauren Liner; grandchildren, Destiny Hill, Isaiah Liner, Sienna Hill, Trinity Hill, Andrea Embry, and Joseph Embry; and great grandchildren, Gabe, Jett, Ezekiel, Dominic, Veyda, Marcellus, Bryson, and Maddie.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 3:00PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Pastor John Butler and Joe Liner speaking. Following the service, Aquamation services will be provided by Miller Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 27th, from 1:00PM until the service hour.
