VOTE 2025: Haralson comes out to decide local races, SPLOST questions


Vote 2024

SPLOST and E-SPLOST extensions were on the table for decision by local voters, along with city races in Bremen and Tallapoosa as Election Day 2025 finished up the state’s off-year cycle of balloting.

Here are the results for the two SPLOST requests on the ballot: (updated as of 9:33 p.m. EST with full results.)

Among the locally contested races include the Mayor’s race in the City of Bremen, while the council posts will return the incumbents without opposition for this cycle. Here’s the results of the race between Dobby Harris and Sharon Sewell.

There’s also a contested Mayor’s race in Tallapoosa. The other seats up for grabs on the council saw incumbents qualify without any opposition. The results below between incumbent Mayor Brett Jones and challenger Joe Glass.
