A Buchanan woman was jailed on Thursday night after police found more than 100 grams of methamphetamine in her residence.
It was the second time in more than a year that law enforcement searched and found drugs at 200 Ballpark Road in Buchanan in just over a year’s time as the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force raised the residence and found methamphetamine inside.
According to a release from the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office posted on Friday, 45-year-old Kristina Campbell Prince was the only one arrested, and they only found methamphetamine during the raid.
She remained in custody on a single felony charge of trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or methamphetamine.
Her bond was set at $100,000 for the single charge.
Task Force agents found 112 grams of methamphetamine in the raid that ended a months-long investigation into the residence, but their main suspect wasn’t home at the time of police showed up.
The HCSO release note that this was the second time that 200 Ballpark Road in Haralson has been raided since 2022.
