Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Mac Ryder, age 84, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on April 3, 2025.

Ronnie was a busy-body that loved to tinker, whether that be with work around the house, in the camper, in the garden, or feeding (too much sometimes) the dogs. He had the biggest heart that loved strongly, never met a stranger, and made sure his family felt his love.

He had a passion for anything western, historical, and was a Civil War buff. He spent many months and years traveling with the people he loved and treasured. He lived a long prosperous life filled with memories and love.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter and son in law, DeeAnn and Scott Robinson, of Tallapoosa; granddaughters, Brandie Robinson, Christy Robinson, and Cindy and Casey Moore; great grandchildren, Peyton Cathcart, Ellie Finley (Saban Craft), Cohen Hulsey, Kendyl Hulsey, Cole Finley, Josie Finley, Cooper Moore, and Rylee Moore; sister, Delinda Housley, of Woodstock, GA; and brother in law, Hoyt Stiles, of Cleveland, TN.

Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Cohen Hulsey, Cole Finley, Cooper Moore, Kevin Cathcart, Kaleb Finley, Bill Robinson, Saban Craft, and Casey Moore. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 at 3:00PM in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hulsey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00PM.
