Early voters were at the Haralson County Courthouse today to take part in the 2024 General Election well before the Nov. 5 vote comes to a close.
Haralson County election officials opened the polls at the courthouse this morning at 8:30 a.m. and they’ll remain open for voters across the area to visit until 5 p.m.
Through the rest of this week and Saturday, the courthouse will be hosting early voting from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Buchanan.
Additionally, a drop box for absentee ballots is also available at the courthouse for those who are voting by mail but don’t wish to wait for the post office to make a delivery.
Request an absentee ballot by October 25, but it has to be returned before polls close on Election Day at 7 p.m. to the Board of Elections to be counted.
Early voting at the courthouse precinct will continue through the next three weeks on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and one more Saturday vote on Oct. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The precinct will close out early voting on November 1.
All 12 of Haralson County’s precincts will be opening on Tuesday, November 5 for the 2024 General Election.
